pH Clinic Team

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

Who we are

We are a team of health professionals who are passionate about what we do and about the health of our clients.

What sets us apart is that we have all experienced ill health prior to our chosen careers, and we use these personal experiences to both fuel our passion to help other people, and also as a way to understand and empathise with our clients as they are going through their own journey to health.

Each of us have our own strengths and skill set, but we all share the same holistic view of health. We believe that health isn’t achieved by just doing one specific thing, but through a change in diet and lifestyle, and honouring the connection between mind and body.

Nicola Johnson

Owner of pH Clinic, Colon Hydrotherapist

Nicola is a certified Advanced Colon Hydrotherapist, GAPS practitioner, Yoga Practitioner and all round health enthusiast. Her passion for health stems from years of GIT issues, which led her to a healthy lifestyle and motivated her to learn about the gut and all its intricacies.

Colonic Hydrotherapy was such a pivotal treatment modality in my recovery from severe gut/skin issues, I was amazed that no one had told me about it earlier. Not only did it help rid my body of toxicity, it allowed me to deal with a lot of stored emotion in my gut that was clearly contributing to my illness. Coming from someone who has tried everything, mainstream and alternative I urge you to give Colonics a go! It can make the world of difference to your health and happiness.

Masters in Chiropractic

Mentors: Daniel Vladeta, Osteopath and Inventor of Oov product range
Brad Prestidge, Chiropractor and Carrick Neurology Diplomat
Abrar Kenja, healer and bio-physicist

Many others have inspired my unique practice philosophy and technique application. I continue to learn and develop actively.

I believe it’s essential for a practitioner to be practicing what they preach. I feel a strong calling to try and distil what’s fundamental to living a thriving existence and work with my patients to help them unlock that potential within themselves. Every patient is my teacher, my equal and someone to care for simultaneously.

My life passions are pretty simple: I love spending quality time with my family, spending time in the sun, training and testing my body and my mind, eating and drinking from the best sources I can and, of course, constantly learning how to be of service to more people professionally.

Mitchell Jeffrey

Masters in Chiropractic
Mitchell has always had a deep love and respect for all things movement, practicing acrobatics and rock climbing for the best part of his life. He is a qualified Chiropractor and received a Bachelor of science in Psychology. Mitchell has always had a fascination with how the body works and moves, both in its functional and exceptional ways.

“Optimum wellness becomes possible when we achieve a synchronicity between all systems of the body. These systems must be nurtured on multiple planes to facilitate a dynamic and powerful healing journey. It is my profound belief that movement is central to this and helps us enjoy a full expression of life”

Johanna Fox

Colonic Hydrotherapist

After struggling for years with crippling anxiety, GIT issues and way too many rounds of antibiotics, finding Colonic Hydrotherapy was a massive breakthrough towards Joh’s personal health and wellbeing. She had such incredible results and was so keen to share her wisdom, she decided to study and become certified as a Colonic Hydrotherapist.

Joh is extremely passionate about helping people get healthy and well and brings to the clinic an abundance of determination, attention to detail and most importantly empathy as she’s been on a similar journey.

“...it was such a blessing to find pH clinic, now that I am working here I have the opportunity provide to others what the clinic has provided for me...”

Claire McCarthy

Colonic Hydrotherapist

I was first introduced to Colon Hydrotherapy when searching for answers to health issues I’d been experiencing for many years. Chronic constipation, food intolerances, parasites, adult acne, gas, bloating and low mood set me on a mission to heal my body.

The first lesson for me was ‘food is medicine’ – I adopted nutrition and exercise principles into my life that made a big difference.

I then completed a Diploma of Nutritional Medicine (ACNT Sydney) and through my studies learned what an essential player the gut is to physical & mental health and overall wellbeing. But even when eating well and exercising, I still battled with chronic constipation. It was finding Colonic Hydrotherapy that was the missing piece of the health puzzle for me.

Clearing away old toxicity from my body has taken my health to a whole new level. It’s made such a huge difference to my life that I knew I wanted to support others on their gut health journey. I’ve been having colonics myself for over 6 years, and completed my Colon Hydrotherapy training in 2019.

“I love seeing clients experience the amazing physical, mental and emotional benefits of Colonics for themselves. Although the first time having a Colonic can be a little nerve-wracking, it’s absolutely worth it and quickly becomes a therapeutic time of relaxation and release.”

Gabby Moses

Colonic Hydrotherapist

A decade ago, after the birth of my third child, my body was depleted in every way
I launched myself into learning about holistic movement and lifestyle. I was amazed at the benefits of complementary health modalities and how they could positively impact your life.

It was a cancer diagnosis that led me to discover colonics.

Keen to help my body detox from heavy pharmaceuticals, I ensured colonics were a crucial part of my health regime and healing plan.

I fast became a colonic advocate and, pursuing a career in colon hydrotherapy, evolved very organically.

"To be able to help and support others on this wild adventure of life is an honour. I look forward to sharing all the benefits of colonics, together.”

My relationship with myself and others has improved dramatically. Deb studied Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney and has been in private practice on the Northern Beaches for over 12 years. Deb’s love for movement and the body started in her teens as a full-time dance student in Sydney and then in Melbourne with the Australian Ballet School.

Deb has completed many post-grad courses, but the ConnectTherapy™ approach by Dr LJ Lee re-shaped the way she sees the body. In this approach, finding the driver of the non-optimal movement and pain is most important.  Treatment is shaped on restoring this function and re-training. pH Team Testimonials

"I had my first experience with colonic hydrotherapy with the lovely Johanna. I had 3 sessions as suggested for my first time to get the best outcome. I can honestly say this has changed my life. Johanna was supportive, communicative and gentle the entire time. This has helped my bloating, stomach pains, naughty food cravings, no signs of premenstrual dysphoric disorder and little to no cramps. My anxiety is nowhere to be seen and I have even increased my productivity at work with no afternoon slump. Would highly recommend!!"

Jessica Bull

My first experience with pH Clinic was amazing! I booked for a hydrotherapy and infrared sauna package. I would have been a mess of nerves but Samantha talked me through it the whole time and made me feel 100% comfortable. Now I know that gut health is complex, super important and I’m ready to keep doing the work to reverse all those years of damage. I didn’t think twice before booking my next appointment! Will gladly drive 45 mins to this cosy little store because these girls are the BEST.

Rhiannon Metcalfe

"I didn’t realise how rundown I was feeling on a daily basis until I started to feel better. I didn’t realise how toxic I was! The education I received from Nicola was fascinating and logical. I must say I was nervous at first but the process was easy and clean. Not embarrassing at all. The benefits outweigh any embarrassment factor! Colonics are must for everyone! Thank you for giving me back my spark!"
