Hi, I’m Aimee and I am a qualified Naturopath with a Bachelor of Health science in Naturopathy. Health to me encompasses the person as a whole, including spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.
I have a passion for women’s, and children’s health, Endocrine disorders and mental health. But this is not all I see in clinic. My aim is to help find 'the why', so that you can get back in control of your health. This is your health journey and I'm just here to help facilitate and guide you.
I started my naturopathic journey after experiencing first hand just how essential herbal medicine and nutrition are when it comes to optimum health, and my love for preventative medicine blossomed from there. I completed a Bachelor of Health science in Naturopathy in 2009, and have been practicing privately since then.
I have two wonderful children, who have been the perfect teachers (and students) when it comes to children’s health and the obstacles that families face in those early years.
I often get asked what does a Naturopath do? and how would I benefit from seeing one? Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health with the aim of optimising your well being. Naturopathy supports the principles that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself, using the healing power of nature, finding the root cause, treating the person as a whole and individualised treatment approaches. A Naturopath uses modalities such as herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, lifestyle changes and functional testing when customising your wellness plan.
I feel very blessed to be working in an industry that focuses so much on prevention, holistic wellness and patient empowerment and I look forward to working with you.
